Second, invest in relationships. Teams are made of people, not machines, and trust is key. Finally, empower individuals. If you set yourself up to micromanage your team, you’re losing the benefit of having other people involved. Fortunately, this is pretty easy to do if your teammates have a clear picture of the vision and strong relationships with one another (and you).
