At Dallas Memorial, Obama and Bush Deliver Messages of Healing and Hope | US News:

President Barack Obama and former President George W. Bush delivered twin messages of healing and hope at an interfaith memorial service Tuesday honoring the five police officers killed by a sniper in Dallas July 7.
Weaving themes of unity and understanding with the hard realities of racism and modern-day policing, Obama said that the officers who died represented sacrifice, service and the best ideals of the nation.
But he also warned against giving in to cynicism and despair, or believing that stubborn divisions -- between races, between police and anti-brutality protesters and lawmakers opposed about gun control -- can never be resolved.
